Christmas is my favorite time of year with all the decorations and family get togethers. Here is a new table runner I made to add to my etsy shop. I rarely make Holiday items but I loved this design and made one for my girlfriend. Then decided I needed one for the shop too.

I've added some winter hats and mittens to my Etsy shop. From size 1 baby to medium/large women.

As the cooler weather moves in, I've been thinking about the things that I would like to accomplish this winter. I don't go out much in cold weather because I find it hard to warm back up. I've been trying to design some new items to put in my Etsy store but I also need to start making Christmas gifts. I now have a whole notebook of ideas to try and thought today would be a good day to start playing with them.

I have also added a few new items to my store this week. I have several more quilts still at the quilter's that I'll be adding soon.

I finally finished and listed a new quilt in my Etsy Store!! It's been a long time but there are more coming.
This one is a chevron design in Kaffe Fassett fabrics mixed with a few other stripes. It is a double/queen size.

I would like to introduce Moranartandquilts on etsy. I love her originality and color choices. I have included a picture of one of my favorite pieces.

I've finally added a few new purses to my Etsy store.

Love this handle. It has a turn latch closure! I haven't found any more yet. I also love the bright green and orange fabric of this roomy bag.

Signs of Spring

I love all the signs of Spring so I decided to use some fabrics I found recently to create some new items for my Etsy store. I used birds and butterflies for the first few items.

I've added a couple of new quilts to my Etsy shop this week. The first is a pretty peach pink, romantic, double sized quilt. It has touches of chocolate brown for contrast. I've named it "romance" for obvious reasons.

The second quilt is a twin sized that can be used as a double throw quilt. It is made with rich Fall colors of red, green, orange and creams in a pinwheel design.

Both quilts were machine quilted by QuiltLover.

The one million pillowcase challege

These are my donation to the One Million Pillowcase Challenge going on world wide. They will be added to others from my Quiltsy Team on Etsy and shipped to Haiti.

My ETSY team, Quiltsy, is joining with thousands of others to make pillowcases for needing causes. We have decided to add ours to help the victims of Haiti. We encourage everyone to get involved and donate a pillowcase. THe goal is 1,000,000 cases. Many local quilt shops across the country are also participating locally to help shelters and needy in their local areas and states.

I urge everyone to join and make a case for someone! There are patterns available on- line for free.

I will add my cases to this blog later this week.
